This afternoon Year One had a visit from Animal Aid. We got to take part in a fruit minibeasts workshop and began their afternoon by identifying different examples of minibeasts. Year 6 have been doing a brilliant job as reading buddies to Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. They have read stories to the younger children and listened to the children read their phonics books in return. Reading is a favourite for everyone at St Anne’s! Keep it up everyone.

Year 4/5 have been investigating different shapes, materials and structures to build a sturdy prototype of a bridge. We took inspiration from some of the most famous bridges in the world and used our research to help decide which type of bridge was the strongest.
